Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a level 1, basic knowledge qualification from the awarding body Qualsafe. It is regulated by Ofqual & is a fully recognised qualification.

This qualification is for anyone who does not have a specific responsibility for fire safety in the workplace, but wants to know more. It is suitable to qualify you for your workplace safety compliance & can give you the basic knowledge needed to becoming a qualified fire warden/fire marshal.
Level 1 Fire Safety Awareness develops a basic fire safety core knowledge. The course includes causes of fires, the risks, what you can do to control fire risks in the workplace and the principles of fire safety at work.
This course is suitable if you want a deeper level of understanding in fire safety or are aiming to be appointed as a fire marshal at your place of employment.
This is an online or face-to-face course, so you can do it at your own pace or attend a 4 hour session with a group.
If you complete it online, your trainer is always available to help via email and you’ll still receive the Qualsafe textbook which accompanies this course. (Fire Safety Made Easy).
When you’ve completed all the units, you just book in your 1 hour assessment slot to pass!
Whether you complete online or face-to-face, the assessments are in person and should take less than 1 hour to complete. The assessment is included in the course price, so there are no hidden or unexpected charges.
