The Bonny Academy is a Training Provider.
No matter if you’re an individual looking for personal growth or a company looking to train your employees, we can probably offer you something to train in.
Lots of the qualifications on offer are aimed at the events industry and those that work within it, but they can also be tailored to your team and their needs, no matter what industry you’re in.
Who works at The Bonny Academy?
Lee-Ann Bonny is the founder of The Bonny Academy & trains in all of the qualifications on offer as well as the day to day running of the centre. Lee-Ann mainly trains in South Wales & West of England as well as some parts of London. Lee-Ann is an experienced & fully qualified teacher. Look on the bio page for more info.
We now have some highly qualified & trusted individuals that run training sessions and workshops in their main field of study. This is a small team of very talented individuals who are fully trained to deliver courses to you & your teams. They deliver in East Wales, South West of England, London & South of England. These trainers have a varied expertise including Crowd Management, Event Safety, Security, Medical & Traffic…and much more!
What do we do here?
The Bonny Academy offers courses based around health & safety (individual & public) and is aiming towards a future of training for roles in the events industry.

The company has been running for a little over a year & we are building a steady foundation of training that will catapult The Bonny Academy to the top of the events industry.
We have musical tuition and vocal coaching subscriptions available, as well as online vocal courses. Vocal coaching & music tutoring is available via video call & face to face.
The Bonny Academy is a registered cetre with two awarding organisations!
We are registered with Qualsafe for all things health & safety. You can now access a wide range of courses including: First Aid Courses, Health & Safety at Work, Manual Handling, Risk Assessments, Safeguarding, Fire Safety, Education & Training Level 3 and much more.
We recently registered with Qualifications Network UK (QNUK) and have been celebrating becoming approved by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to deliver licence-linked qualifications. Through QNUK, we are able to offer security and crowd safety based qualifications.
Some of our courses have e-learning available and we offer blended learning, as well as in-person sessions. In the training section, you’ll find a full list of courses we currently offer. You’ll also find links to register interest and book your team onto training sessions. There are also courses available to book onto via the shop.
All Qualsafe & QNUK courses are certified qualifications & are regulated by Ofqual. Any Qualsafe or QNUK qualfication that you do with us can be added to your digital learning record (at request). Your learning record can hold all of your qualifications from 2012 and can be accessed by educational institutions and employers, so you can make sure your credentials are proven.
We are also working hard on offering live/online workshops and CPD sessions linked with live events services: volunteering, awareness of vulnerable groups, disability recognition, ALN/SEND & much more!
The Bonny Academy courses & workshops will be accredited so you can add the hours to your Continued Professional Development files. The online vocal workshop already has accreditation & is worth 2 CPD hours, so make sure you sign up with your email to find out dates for those!

Lee-Ann’s Bio
I'm a fully qualified and experienced teacher in Wales, UK. I am also the founder & Principal of The Bonny Academy.
I have taught young people, adults & mature learners at further education level for a number of years. I have extensive experience in vocal studies and music. I have taught privately since 2005 & have a vast amount of experience in different sectors of the Live Music Industry. This experience includes, performance, stage craft, session work, stage management & crowd control plus much more.
As well as the music industry, I have extensive experience in Health & Social Care, First Aid & Health & Safety.
